It is a bitumen-rubber-based, single-component elastic water-based waterproofing emulsion.
It is used as a moisture barrier material in the foundations and basement walls of buildings, as a waterproofing material in dry or damp details such as terraces, roofs, kitchens, bathrooms, etc. It serves as a primer under bituminous coatings, as a primer material and binder in applications involving fiberglass mesh, jute, etc. It is also used as a waterproofing and adhesion-enhancing additive in mortars and renders created with cement and/or fine sand. Additionally, it prevents construction molds from bending and deteriorating due to water and is used as a mold release agent.
The surface to be applied must be cleaned from dust, dirt, rust, and oil, and loose particles should be scraped off. Sharp edges and corners should be rounded. If necessary, it can be applied as a primer by diluting with water, preferably up to a maximum of 1/1 weight ratio, using IZK-1000.
Before applying the primer to the surfaces where insulation will be carried out, surface smoothness, dryness, cleanliness, and the presence of a sufficiently inclined screed should be checked. The bitumen-based waterproofing material IZK-1000 is applied to the surface with a brush or spray gun at a rate of 800 grams per square meter and left to dry completely. Depending on weather conditions, it typically dries in about 4-5 hours. In two-coat applications, the second coat should not be applied until the first coat is completely dry. The membrane bonding process is initiated after the primer has dried completely.
The bitumen-based waterproofing material IZK-1000 should be stored in a cool and covered place. It should be protected from exposure to sunlight. When stored in unopened original packaging in dry and cool conditions, its shelf life is 12 months.

It is environmentally friendly as it does not contain solvents and can be comfortably used in enclosed spaces. It can be applied to dry and moist surfaces. After drying, it forms a continuous layer that is impermeable to water and moisture on the applied surface. It is used as a primer diluted with water under bitumen coatings, as a waterproofing and adhesion-enhancing additive in cement-based mortars, and for insulation purposes.
